In the vast sea of quests that FFXI is immersed in, it’s no surprise that there are thousands of combined cutscenes, dialogue lines, NPCs, and locations scattered throughout the world.
But every now and then a quest appears that offers a unique reward.
And sometimes the quest is so memorable that it becomes iconic to most players who have already picked up the game.
Here is a list of the most unique in Final Fantasy XI.
10. It’s Raining Mannequins
In this task, players must obtain 5 pieces of dummies and assemble them in Fyi Chalmwoh.
It may take some time to get them, but there are several ways to get them.
And the reward is a life-size model to display weapons and armor in your Moga home!
Prerequisites: Windurst Reputation Level 1
Where you begin the quest: Fay Chalmwoh an Mhaura, (G-8)
Reimbursement: A mannequin matching the race and gender of the player
9. Tenshodo Membership
New players should strive to complete this mysterious quest as quickly as possible to gain access to the most valuable NPC in the game.
His secret society has an NPC trader who sells many rare magic scrolls that took a lot of time and effort to obtain.
This includes things like Warp II, Sleepga II, and Utsusemi: Ichi!
Prerequisites: Tenshodo invitation x1, or reputation Jeuno level 3 and Tenshodo membership card x1
Where you begin the quest: Fay Chalmwoh an Mhaura, (G-8)
Reimbursement: Tenshodo invitation and access to several NPC shops, including Amalasanda, which sells many scrolls with quest spells.
8. The Rivalry – The Competition
Here’s the infamous quest, thanks to one of the two best rods in the game.
It takes no less than 10,000 fish to make it.
So, yeah, you’re gonna have to spend some time here…..
But for anglers who want to show off, it’s certainly a goal.
Prerequisites: San d’oria reputation 1, 10,000 ripped carp and/or forest carp
Where to start the quest: Joulet of Gaul – Port St. John D’oria, (H-8)
Award: Lu Shan’s type.
7. Give a Moogle a Break (Mog Safe quest series)
In this three-part quest series, players mine items for their Moogle friends to increase the storage space of Mog Safe.
It’s just a necessity for the hundreds of items you’ll be storing while traveling. So I highly recommend that you start this task as soon as you get the chance.
Prerequisites: Reputation level 3 in the player’s homeland, Bronze Bed x1, Strength Bow x1, Bug Ring x1
Where you begin the quest: Moogle – Moogle house in the player’s residence
prize: Vault capacity +10 for each completed quest in the series.
6. The Gobbiebag series
Just like in the Mog Safe quest, in this quest you have to get all kinds of objects out of the Gobbi bag.
But this time around, the intention is to increase the maximum number of slots in the inventory – from the original 30 to 80.
This is a nice improvement, as you will surely find hundreds of items that you want to keep with you. Storage space is not cheap.
This quest also increases the capacity of your Mog bag and your Mog bag to the corresponding inventory limit each!
This 10-part quest is long (very long), and the list of items you need is also quite long.
But it is highly recommended to complete this entire quest line, considering everything it brings you.
Prerequisites: Reputation Jeuno 2 and :
Molybdenum rod x1, griffin skin x1, scarf x1, angel skin or orb x1
or
Goblin stew 880 x1
Where to begin the quest: Blefnix – Lower Evno, (H-9)
Award: Maximum inventory +5 for each completed quest in the series
5. Release the Fleece
Completion of this quest unlocks the first part of a detailed monster raising system that allows the player to deal with many different types of monsters – most of which have cute baby shapes!
Players who invest time in this system will be richly rewarded, as spawning monsters will be rewarded with important items that give permanent buffs.
This can mean a permanent increase in movement speed or experience points and skills.
Requirements: All gathering locations in a player’s Mog Garden totalling rank 20 or higher, and players having asked Susuroon for help at least once
Where to start the quest: Green Thumb Moogle – Mog Garden
Reward: Monster Rearing system unlocked
4. Elder Memories or The Old Lady (Easy method)
This quest used to require 3 items to unlock, but has been greatly simplified with the introduction of the Vana’diel Rhapsodies storyline in Final Fantasy XI.
But it is also one of the most important tasks to accomplish.
And it’s definitely one of the most memorable in the entire game, as it opens up the entire subquest system.
Requirements: Level 18+, Completion of the quest “Set Free“
Where to start the quest: Isacio – Selbina, (G-10) or Vera – Mhaura, (G-10)
Reward: Unlocks the Sub Job system
3. Full speed ahead!
In recent years, FFXI has introduced a maunt system.
This significantly reduces the danger when traveling through outdoor areas around the world.
While Maunts cannot be used in cities, dungeons or underground areas, they are very useful when they can be summoned.
And this is the job you have to do to get them.
Requirements: Level 20+, Completion of the quest “Chocobo’s Wounds”
Where to start the quest: Mapitoto – Upper Jeuno, (G-7)
Reward: Unlocks the Mount system
2. Unity Concord
Unity Concord is a task every gamer should undertake, and one you’ll probably remember for a long time.
It unlocks the Unity system, which is generally a beginner-friendly game system.
It is represented by the most popular NPCs in Vana’dil, who report to you regularly in the general server chat, including information about Dominion invasion battles.
The cats of the Unit can also be used by other players belonging to the same Unit.
This system even serves to introduce players to the Unity NM system, which is a pretty easy way for new high-level players to equip, earn money, and advance to the end game.
Requirements: 5 Records of Eminence quests completed

1. First step forward
For completing this quest you will be rewarded with the Eminence Record system, one of the most important systems to unlock in FFXI, especially for new or returning players.
Overall, it’s an easy introduction for beginners to the different systems you’ll need to play. It also helps you feel at ease.
But it also offers many rewards. In addition, the game has a daily, weekly and monthly goal system that is fun for players of all levels.
So it’s easy to see why this study (and Eminence Records) is so iconic!

Where to start the quest: Accept “First Step Forward” by opening the Quest Menu > Records of Eminence > Tutorial > Basics, and then speak to one of the following A.M.A.N. representatives:

In The Division, quest rewards are the reward you get for completing a specific series of missions. For some, this is the best part of the game and the reward system is one of the main reasons they play. For others, the reward system is a part of the core gameplay, but it’s the major downside of the game, since it’s all about grinding for loot to complete the missions.
