In terms of quality, there’s a lot of great zombies action in Black Ops Cold Wars, but which one stands out above the rest? We took a look at all eight and ranked them from worst to best. It was great fun playing through Call of Duty: Black ops Cold War zombies again! In multiple ways, it was a new beginning for Zombie fans. It began a new storyline with Samanta Maxi, still, a pivotal character New features were added to the game which made it even better than before. In addition to these changes, there were some new features added into the game such as the ability for players to customize weapons using attachments like scopes and silencers. Here are all of Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold Wars zombies maps ranked from worst to first.
1. Mob of the Dead
The Mob of the Dead map is set on an abandoned train station that has been overrun by zombies. The player must use their wits and skills to survive against hordes of undead enemies while trying to find a way off of the island. Players can also choose between two different difficulty modes – Normal or Hard.

The Mob of the dead map is a pretty good-looking zombie map with lots of detail and interesting environments. However, the gameplay isn’t very exciting and the lack of variety makes this map feel repetitive. There aren’t many places where you can hide from the zombies, so if you get caught, you’re going to be eaten alive. This map doesn’t offer much in terms of strategy either since most of your time will be spent running around trying not to get killed by the zombies. Overall, this map feels more like a training exercise rather than something that would appeal to hardcore gamers.
2. Kino der Toten
This map takes place in an old German castle that is now overrun by zombies. As you explore the castle, you’ll encounter several rooms filled with zombies that need to be cleared out. You’ll have to make sure that you don’t run out of ammo because there are no health packs anywhere in sight.
The Kino der Toten map offers a nice mix of both indoor and outdoor areas. That said, the indoor sections tend to be a bit too small and cramped for comfort. While exploring the outdoors, you’ll see plenty of large open spaces to shoot zombies in. Unfortunately, the outdoor environment lacks any sort of strategic depth. There aren’t any cover points or hiding spots available, so you’ll just have to keep moving forward until you reach a safe area. Overall, the Kino der Toten is a decent looking zombie map that provides enough shooting opportunities without being overly difficult. If you want a quick shooter that won’t require you to think about anything other than killing zombies, then this could be the map for you.
3. Der Reise
The Der Reise map is set inside a cruise ship that has been overrun by the undead. To begin with, you’ll have to navigate through the ship searching for survivors. Once you find them, you’ll be able to help them escape the ship via one of three exits. The Der Reise is a fairly well-designed zombie map. It gives you the option of choosing between two different difficulty levels – Easy and Hard. On Easy mode, you’ll only have to worry about clearing away groups of zombies. On Hard mode, however, you’ll face off against tougher enemies that are armed with machine guns.
The Der Reise is probably the best looking zombie map in the entire series. It features some really cool lighting effects as well as detailed models. In addition, the map looks great even when viewed at close range. The downside to this map though is that it doesn’t offer up any real challenge. There are no hidden weapons or powerups to be found on the map, so all you have to do is kill zombies.
In short, the Der Reise is a solid looking zombie map that offers nothing new or challenging. However, it does look quite impressive and should satisfy fans of the genre.
4. Nacht der Untoten
The Nacht der Untoten map is set in a post apocalyptic world that has been ravaged by nuclear fallout. As you search for supplies, you’ll come across various locations scattered throughout the wasteland. Each location contains a group of zombies that need to be eliminated before they can attack you.
The Nacht der untoten map is a fairly basic zombie map. Most of the action takes place indoors, which means that you’ll spend most of your time fighting hordes of zombies. Fortunately, the indoor environments are pretty sizeable, so you shouldn’t have much trouble finding places to hide.
As far as the visuals go, the Nacht der Untotens looks like something straight out of a Resident Evil game. You’ll encounter lots of dark corridors and rooms filled with shadows and flickering lights. Overall, the Nacht der untotens is a good looking zombie map that will provide hours of fun.
5. Zombies in Spaceland
Spaceland is an interesting looking zombie map that was designed by the same team responsible for the popular Day Z mod. This particular map features a futuristic setting where humans have been forced into underground bunkers due to a deadly virus outbreak.

You’ve got to work hard to survive on this map. You’ll have to scavenge for food, water, ammunition, and medical supplies while avoiding the roaming packs of zombies. The zombies themselves aren’t particularly tough either. They don’t pose too many problems once you figure out how to deal with them. The Zombies in Spaceland is a decent looking zombie map. It features a nice blend of realistic textures and bright colors. Unfortunately, there isn’t much variety in the gameplay. All you’re doing is trying to find resources and eliminate zombies.
There are plenty of weapons available in the Zombies in Spaceland. You’ll start out with just a pistol but you’ll eventually be able to pick up shotguns, rifles, rocket launchers, grenades, and more. Overall, the Zombies in Spaceland is one of the better looking zombie maps. If you’re looking for a fresh experience then this might be worth checking out.
6. Origins
Origins is a very simple looking zombie map. It only contains two levels, both of which feature a single building that houses a handful of zombies. The first level is located inside the building and the second level is located outside. The Origins map is a fairly basic looking zombie map. There are no other buildings or NPCs to interact with. Instead, you’ll simply have to fight off hordes of zombies until you reach the end of each level.
If you’re looking for some mindless shooting then Origins could be right up your alley. However, if you want something a little bit more challenging then you should probably look elsewhere. In the year 2047, humanity has become extinct after being wiped out by a mysterious disease called the Black Death. Nowadays, all that remains of mankind are the undead who roam the earth searching for human survivors. In the Nacht der Untoeten map, you play as a lone survivor who must make it through the night without getting killed by the hordes of undead.
7. Der Eisendrache
This is another relatively simple looking zombie map. Der eisendrache is set on a small island surrounded by a lake. As soon as you enter the map, you’ll see a large number of zombies waiting to attack you. The Der eisendrach map is a pretty standard looking zombie map. You’ll need to use your wits to survive. Luckily, you’ll also have access to a wide range of weapons.
The main problem with the Der eisendracher is that they’re not really that difficult to kill. Most of them will fall victim to a well-placed bullet from a high powered rifle. If you’d like a challenge then Der eisendrachel may be right up your alley!
8. Shadows of Evil
Shadow of evil is an interesting looking zombie map. It takes place in a dark forest where you’ll have to navigate around a series of traps. These traps include tripwires, spikes, and even electrified fences. You’ll also have to contend with a horde of zombies who are eager to eat your brains. Fortunately, you’ll have access to a variety of weapons including pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles, and more. Shadow of evil is a good looking zombie map. It’s fun to explore and provides a unique experience. Unfortunately, it’s not particularly easy either. The game can get frustrating at times because of how many traps you’ll encounter along the way. If you’ve got a lot of time on your hands and enjoy playing games that aren’t too easy, then Shadow of evil might be right up your alley.
