Bioshock: Infinite was one of the most critically acclaimed games in recent history, but Irrational Games’ time to shine might be over. With seemingly no further Bioshock releases planned, it appears that the series has come to an end with this fourth entry. However, a new report reveals that there could still be more BioShock games on tap—six years after their last release date announcement.

Oops Leaks has revealed fresh information about BioShock 4, the fourth entry in 2K Games’ dystopian first-person shooter franchise. The new game, tentatively titled BioShock Isolation, is being created on Unreal Engine 5 by veterans of Irrational Games, the team behind the original BioShock and BioShock Infinite, according to the leaker. BioShock Isolation is expected to be released in Q1 2022.

The game has concept artists, environment artists, modelers, VFX experts, and level designers that previously worked on Watch Dogs: Legion, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Mafia 3, and other titles. I didn’t say the game will be entirely created by their teams.
I’m not aware of Sony’s connection with 2K, but I am aware that the game’s development is geared for a release on both PC and console, so I can’t confirm the new #Bioshock for PS5’s exclusivity.
According to a PowerPoint published by Oops Leaks, BioShock Isolation will have two cities, in contrast to its predecessors, which were all set in Rapture or Columbia. Another indicates that the game’s creator, Cloud Chamber Games, is inspired by great films like Citizen Kane.

The release of BioShock Isolation might be accompanied by a remastered version of the original. According to NVIDIA’s leaked list of GeForce NOW titles, which contains entries for “BioShock 2022” and “BioShock RTX remaster,” there will be a “BioShock 2022” and “BioShock RTX remaster.”
