Fortnite is now in the second chapter of season 8 and there have been enough changes to warrant a rethink on your most ideal landing spots. Some people want a quiet start while others want to just jump right into it. This map has most recently had the Mothership blown up and what‘s left is wreckage all across.

The Safest Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8
The Sideways
At the start of each match, a randomly selected location will have a huge and orange dome over it. Inside the dome, players can find Sideways weapons which tend to be very interesting and powerful. It is also a dangerous drop so proceed with caution.
The Sideways Anomalies
At the start of each round, we will see a number of Sideways Anomalies. These smaller sets of objectives are located within the bigger sets at different locations and contain some special Sideways encounters. But if you survive the challenge and reach this point, you will be rewarded with valuable loot (if not, it‘s no big loss)
Sludgy Swamp
In mathematics, Sludgy Swamp will always be a good place to drop, because even if it undergoes some changes since last season. Lots of loot is usually present at the former site of the Slurpy Factory and in gunfights, you can easily get full shields and recover from early damage.
Misty Meadows
Misty has been quiet for the last few seasons as more people are drawn to areas on the map that have changed a lot. This makes it perfect for players who enjoy starting at quieter areas because it still has plenty more stashes to loot, and you can get to any other spot on the map quickly.
Believer Beach
Believe it or not, another spot that will always be a good choice. It has lots of loot, lots of vehicle options so you can grab something with gas and then hit the road. There are always lots of challenges all around Believer Beach so get ready for this area!
Dirty Docks
Dirty Docks is rich but tends to be quiet because there are no aliens or NPCs occupying the area.
The IO Outposts
Ionic has built some new Outposts this season and is keeping a close eye on strategically important parts of the map. Here you will find Ionic Guards, cars, and weapons to make it a great place to drop in.
