Weights, treadmills and home gym equipment are three distinct categories of (workout) equipment that can be used to reach your fitness goals. However, they are all very different machines that serve different purposes. Weights are ideal for building muscle, treadmills help you get into shape and home gym equipment is a flexible and convenient way to get the workout you need in the comfort of your own home.

Training is an important part of The Sims 4 game. The Athletic skill is one of the easiest to create since Sims can play sports almost anywhere. You can go to the gyms that exist all over the world, go jogging or, of course, buy equipment and use it at home. But, as you’ve probably noticed if you play Athletic Sims often, the options for creating a gym at home are pretty limited. All we have is the same equipment as the public gyms, and that’s no fun! It’s a good thing our supporters came for us, isn’t it? From a fresh lick of paint to new decorations, this list includes everything you need to create a beautiful gym.

1. Strong set

word-image-11436 Check out this AC. Anyone who is serious about fitness usually has a set or two of weights at home. Your Sims can now do the same with this detailed set from Soloriya. The set includes a variety of strength training equipment, from large dumbbells to small dumbbells and weight benches. There are also shelves that can support even more weight, so you can fill an entire room with this material if you want. Your Sims may not be able to lift weights, but they can sit on benches! Either way, it looks more fun, right? No exercise,no sweat,no shower…. Yeah, it’s much better.

2. Crossfit Exercise Bike Kit

word-image-11437 Check out this AC. Uh, CrossFit. Even if you consider yourself far from a fitness guru, you’ve probably heard of it. You need a lot of determination, courage and motivation to stick with this diet. It is not for the faint of heart. …. That is, not for me, in other words. But with the Sims, it’s different. You can hit them pretty hard, and the worst they get is moody muscle pain. No pain, no gain! This kit contains everything a sim needs to get serious about fitness. There’s a great selection of ladders and wall decals to inspire your Sims to move.

3. Sports training device

word-image-11438 Check out this AC. Training doesn’t always have to mean pushing your body to its limits. There are many easy ways to stay fit and toned while having fun. This set is ideal if you only want to use a small room in your Sim’s house for light fitness. The equipment here is pretty basic: Yoga equipment, small dumbbells and weights, and big rubber balls that we all wanted to jump on. One of these large balls even serves as a chair! There is a range of sports equipment, including various decorative balls, goals and floor markings, as well as an exercise bike! That’s what we missed from the beginning.

4. PegasusTreadmill

word-image-11439 Check out this AC. If you’re just tired of the treadmills you already have and want to change, AdonisPluto can help. These Sims 3 conversions are like a breath of fresh air, away from the same practical color schemes we’ve had for years. The structure of the machine itself is slightly different. It is available in seven modern and bright variants. I especially like this CC because now your Sims don’t have to buy the exact same equipment for their house that they use in the gym.

5. Wear-resistant rubber floor tiles

word-image-11440 Check out this AC. How often do you see athletic sims, or even those with only an energy regulator, drop to the wooden floor and start doing squats? Ouch! I swear, I can feel it in my tailbone every time they do it. With this tile from creator Wallpaper, your gym finally has the right flooring. Gone are the days when your Sim did push-ups in the kitchen. In fact, they still can, because they don’t make much sense until you create them. But if you’re building a home gym and using these tiles, you can place them much better. They are available in 7 variants, including green, red and yellow, in addition to the standard black and grey.

6. Sports facilities complex

word-image-11441 Check out this AC. Here are some of the more typical decorating style fitness items that any sports person or sim would want to have in their home. In total, these are twelve items that you can really add to your gym, including a large barbell, several dumbbells, barbell racks, a punching bag, and a rack for gym balls. That covers all the bases, right? If you don’t have an indoor pool, there aren’t many other ways to exercise in the comfort of your home!

7. Punch Em Up! Rebuilt punching bag

word-image-11442 Check out this AC. If you had one of those inflatable punching bags as a kid, you know how much fun it is – with the right design, of course. That’s what makes or breaks them. Mine had a dalmatian and I didn’t want to hit the dog, so it wasn’t used much. These were made with the same idea, I believe. Your Sims can imitate the cartoon characters of famous people like Miley Cyrus, Ronald McDonald or even President Obama. A bit random, but I never judge creativity.

8. Color PopTreadmill

word-image-11443 Check out this AC. Here’s more proof that a little paint can lighten up a room. Color Pop Treadmill CC from zomgitsmanda features bold paintings of the treadmill from the base game. It is now white with blue, green, purple, orange or pink accents. In my opinion, this is the perfect recolour for any gym, public or private. The change is big enough to be noticeable. It probably makes sense that most treadmills are black – they hide stains better – but in The Sims you don’t have to worry about anything. Aesthetics are always more important!

9. Training material and associated floor mats

word-image-11444 Check out this AC. Combinations are always a good way to create a homogeneous and well cared for room interior. Unfortunately, this can be quite difficult due to the lack of a color wheel in The Sims 4. Sometimes you have to stick to the basic colors white and black, or accept that everything in your Sim’s house will be a different color. Well, this designer has given us some options to make our gymnasiums more beautiful than ever. There are three new designs for the treadmill, with matching mat patterns! They are all fantastic and can easily be combined with other decorations you would like to make.

10. 48 colors punch bag

word-image-11445 Check out this AC. Sometimes a new look is all you need. These 48 reinterpretations of the basic punching bag are fantastic and an apt way to spice up any gym or home gym. EnticingSims has pretty much caught the entire rainbow here. Whether it’s pastel or bright shades, red, black, white, pink, blue, green or everything in between, there’s a punching bag for you. Because who said exercise equipment had to be simple and boring? The most important thing to remember when shopping for a home gym is that you’re going to be using it regularly, so you may as well get the most out of your purchase. With that in mind, look for gym equipment that offers a wide range of exercises, and try to find a piece that will be versatile for years to come.. Frequently Asked Questions

Should you use weights on a treadmill?

The weight-lifting treadmill can be a great tool for the gym junkie or just someone looking to stay fit. With the right type of machine, the weight-lifting treadmill can help you build muscle, burn fat, and get in shape faster than you would on a regular treadmill. That said, a weight-lifting treadmill can also be a major money sink. If you own a treadmill, you likely know that you can lose weight with it, whether you’re running or walking. But can you use weights on a treadmill? Many treadmills have a weight setting: typically from 10 to 500 pounds. While it’s possible to use a weight belt with a treadmill, you’ll find that the weight settings on treadmills are too light to offer an effective weight training session.

Is a heavier treadmill better?

If you’re looking to pick up a treadmill for your home gym, there’s one key consideration that separates high-quality models from the rest of the pack: the weight. There are plenty of choices when it comes to how you power a treadmill, but far fewer when it comes to how much it weighs. Whether you’re a serious marathon runner or just looking to stay fit, a heavy-duty treadmill can last longer and provide a more effective workout than its lighter counterparts. It’s true that treadmills have come a long way in the past decade. Today’s models are sleeker, quieter and, of course, more expensive than the clunkers of yesteryear. That’s not to say that high-end machines don’t have a few drawbacks, though. Treadmills that are too heavy can be difficult to move and store, which can make them a pain to use. The good news is that there are ways to get around this problem. For example, you can attach wheels to your treadmill, then roll it out of the way whenever you’re not using it. This can make your home gym experience more convenient, and help you get the most out of your treadmill.

Do treadmills have a weight limit?

Pick up any treadmill and the accompanying literature will claim it can support a certain amount of weight. But do treadmills have a weight limit? The answer is not as simple as you might think. Treadmills don’t break when you run on them. However, if you are over the weight limit that is specified by the manufacturer, you may damage the treadmill. You may also eventually damage your back. Most treadmills can support a weight of between 300 and 400 pounds. We all know that treadmills are very useful workout tools. However, treadmills also can be a danger to your health. This is because of how treadmills work. If you are heavier than the treadmill’s weight capacity Treadmills are an indispensable part of complete fitness facilities; however, you should know that most treadmills have a weight limit. The weight limits on most treadmills range from 400 to 550 pounds, with some models having a weight limit of up to 400 pounds. It is common that most treadmills will have a max weight of at least 400 pounds, and some will have a weight limit of up to 550 pounds.
