The Wyoming wilderness in Firewatch has a sense of isolation. The Long Dark multiplies this feeling tenfold in its own inimitable way. Set in the frozen north of Canada, you play as Mackenzie, who is trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world affected by the effects of a geomagnetic disaster. Although this is a survival game in which you must watch your hunger and thirst levels and make sure you don’t freeze to death, the episodic story mode tells a compelling tale of reflection, loss and perseverance in a world that has changed forever. The story begins when Mackenzie agrees to fly into the snowy skies to help Dr. Greenwood, who must deliver a mysterious suitcase.
