When he sees something crashing in the woods after a failed attempt, he meets a small, wounded alien named FU. While searching for a way to get FU back to his planet, Damon and FU become best friends and develop a strong bond. After finding a piece of alien technology at the crash site of an FU ship, Damon gains alien powers and helps the FU build a spaceship. They say goodbye, with FU assuring them that he’ll be back in 20 years. Eventually FU returns home just as government agents try to catch him.
