PlayStation Plus – what is PS Plus?
PS Plus is a premium subscription service for PS4 gamers.
It gives you access to online multiplayer as well as exclusive discounts across the PlayStation Store.
But it also nets you two hand-picked PS4 games to download and play each month, which remain available as long as you’re a member.
Many PS4 owners will subscribe to PS Plus for the multiplayer alone, so the free games are a pleasant bonus
A membership costs £6.99 a month, £19.99 for three months or £49.99 annually.

PS Plus free games for June 2020 revealed
The main freebie this time around is Call of Duty: WW2.
It came out in 2017 and – like its predecessors – is a first-person shooter with a campaign mode and online multiplayer.
As the name suggests, the game is set during World War 2.
Specifically, the story focuses on Europe on the western front, including Operation Overlord – the Allied invasion of Germany-occupied Western Europe.
The game was well-reviewed, especially for the franchise’s return to its World War 2 origins.
It’s available to download for free for PS Plus subscribers from May 26.
Other games coming to the PS Plus freebies list in June 2020 have not yet been revealed.
