It is often said that the best way to spend your time is playing games. Most people would agree that playing games is an enjoyable pastime, and many games have a rich history. There are many different types of games, and each game has its own unique benefits and challenges.. Read more about osrs minigames worth doing and let us know what you think.

Mini-games are a fun part of OSRS because they take the focus off the main game and give you the opportunity to do something different with your friends – or your team of players.

You might even make some new friends along the way!

But there’s a whole bunch of mini-games. Which ones are really the most interesting?

Let’s take a look and evaluate the best minigames in Old School history.

If you are looking for a good way to relax or if you just want to buy some really high quality equipment, you should try some out as soon as possible.

10. Fishing Trawler

Are you ready to head out to the high seas in search of one of the hardest fish to find?

Fishing Trawler is a mini-game in which you take Murphy’s trawler out to sea. Their job is to keep the vessel afloat and secure the nets while the trawler is fishing.

You have to work as a team, because you have to pump out the water, seal the leaks with tar and repair the broken nets.

And by completing this mini-game, you can obtain a rare piece of equipment that is useful to the fisherman.

All of this equipment essentially enhances your fishing experience, so it is very helpful to purchase them right from the start.

Depending on your level of fishing, you can also catch plenty of fish, as well as sea turtles and manta rays.

Please note that you must be at least level 15 to fish here.

Where to find: A fishing trawler is in Hazard Harbor, talk to Murphy to find out what to do.

9. Tears of Guthix

This mini-game is hidden behind the quest of the same name, and is a weekly event that you can complete for a very satisfying experience.

To complete the quest, you need 43 quest points and levels 49 Fire Mining, 20 Crafting, and 20 Mining.

The mini game consists of collecting the tears that flow from the walls in random places.

Blue tears increase your score and green tears decrease it.

The time you have to collect tears depends on the number of quest points you have: more points means more time to collect tears.

And when your time is up, drink the tears you’ve collected and get a big chunk of experience.

Where to find: Below Lumbridge, in the tunnels, you’ll find the Abyss of Tears mini-game.

8. Nightmare Zone

If you complete enough quests, you can be hunted by all the bosses you killed.

The Nightmare Zone allows the player to enter a dream state where they can fight against the bosses they defeated during their journey.

You can even increase the difficulty to make the battles more challenging!

In this mini game you get points that you can use for different purposes. The glasses are mainly used for impregnating rings, as well as the hunter’s helmet and the salmon famulet.

Other uses include purchasing spice boxes and other accessories.

Dying in this mini-game is completely harmless and simply ends the dream.

You can also play in a variety of modes, from Endurance to Rumble. The next time you feel the urge to upgrade your old enemies, be sure to check this out.

Where to find: Outside Janil, by the bank.

7. Mahogany Homes

Do you feel like a carpenter?

Well, the citizens of Guilinor could use your services!

Mahogany Homes is the first construction company in OSRS where you can be sent on specific jobs in OSRS to repair some of the dilapidated homes around the world.

There are different levels for all levels, and you earn points for each task you complete. Points can be redeemed for various items in the Rewards Store.

To begin with, you only need one player’s house, but I recommend unlocking a few teleporters and having them ready to use, as you’ll have to travel a lot.

Where to find: The headquarters is in Falador, but there are smaller offices in Warrock, East Ardugna and Hosidius.

6. Duel Arena

Ah, the infamous dueling arena.

This content has caused a rift in the community, with some players claiming that it encourages gambling and others that it is an integral part of the game.

In the dueling arena you can fight with your friends in a one-on-one duel with set rules between two participants.

The great thing is that you can bet any amount of gold against each other.

As a result, billions of coins are wagered every day, and some players are very successful, while others lose so much that they end up quitting the game!

It is mainly inhabited by players who want to try their luck.

Be very careful when you come here.

Winners know when to quit.

Where to find: Located in Al Kharid, you can also teleport there with the duel ring.

5. Castle Wars

Castle Wars is one of the oldest and most popular minigames in OSRS.

Most people who play it today do so out of nostalgia, because the rewards aren’t that great. Plus, it’s now a F2P minigame, and anyone can enjoy it on OSRS.

But it’s still one of the most iconic films worth watching.

The mini-game is an old-fashioned flag conquering game!

Now add the ability to kill members of the other team and you have Castle Wars.

This minigame is safe and will not cause you to lose any items.

This is easily one of the most fun minigames out there, so don’t hesitate to try it out!

Where to find: West of Janil and south of the observatory. You can use the dueling ring to teleport here.

4. Barrows

This is our first dangerous mini game, because if you die, you lose items.

Barrows is a medium to high level mini-game in which players must defeat five bosses, then go deep into the crypt to kill the last boss and loot a chest in the middle of the crypt for possible rewards after all the bosses are dead.

Barrows is a good entry point into PvM and can be very lucrative, as Barrows runes and gear can potentially increase over time.

Expensive items like the Top Arima and Karila are worth millions – and can fill a player’s bank well in the early levels.

Where to find: Located in the lower part of Moritania, near the town of Mort’ton. I recommend using Barrow’s teleportation tabs if you have them.

3. Blast Furnace

The Keldagrim Blast Furnace offers players the best forging experience in the game and is also a fantastic source of money.

There are worlds where a blast furnace can be used. This involves loading the ore into a huge furnace to produce ingots.

A blast furnace uses half the usual amount of coal and melts the ingots at once – a great way to make money and an efficient way to get ingots.

Smelting gold bars can give you up to 350k experience per hour, which is incredible.

Where to find : Located in Keldagrim and requires completing the Giant Dwarf quest. I also recommend that you bring gloves for the ice.

2. Pest Control

Pest Control is a safe, battle-based mini-game about obtaining the very powerful armor of a Void Knight!

You must have a combat level of 40 or higher to board the ship and travel to the parasite infested islands.

On these islands you must protect the Void Knight by destroying the portals through which the vermin arrive.

This is a collaborative task, as your team (up to 25 people) must work together to make sure the Void Knight doesn’t die before the portals are destroyed.

For every game you win, you get points and coins.

And when you have collected enough points (about 850 in total), you can buy the void armor.

Where to find: You need to go to the Void Knights’ outpost, which you can reach from Sarim’s harbor.

1. Raids

Raids are the best (and hardest) mini-games in OSRS, because you have to work as a team to tackle the most challenging content in the entire game.

There are currently two raids in OSRS: Xeric Chambers and Blood Theater, the latter being a very dangerous activity.

During raids you will encounter various bosses and challenges that you and your team must overcome together.

Without teamwork, you will almost certainly fail, so make sure you go with people you can trust!

If you succeed, you’ll have the chance to get some of the best items in the game, like the Twisted Bow and Vitur’s Scythe.

Where to find: Xeric’s room is on the island of Zea and the Blood Theatre is in Moritania near Ver Sinhaz. Most of the minigames in RuneScape are barely noticeable, but there are a few that have stood the test of time.

A lot of the minigames have not changed much over the years, but there are a few that have been given new life. And even though they may be a little old school, these are still a lot of fun to play.
